February – A MOMENT IN TIME - A Photographic Show by Ruth Siegel

Swirling fur of our comical puppy, or the sun settling over the ocean, each is a “moment in time” as caught by my camera.  Capturing my world, wherever that may be, through the eye of my camera gives me great joy.

If there is a gene for the love of photography, then I inherited it from my Dad.  And as my Dad always told me, if I wanted to do something well, take some classes.  So take some classes I did – at the New School, the International Center for Photography and Maine Photographic Workshops.

I have been fortunate that a number of the “moments in time” as captured by my camera have been selected as winners in a variety of photography contests.

I hope all who visit my photo show at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Library in February 2010 will enjoy this moment in time in my life.
